TOMO Mags

TOMO Mags is fairly new to Austin but has been much needed. This shop reminds me of the shops you would see in NYC and I mean that is the best way possible. I love that they make it a point to stock International magazines that are especially hard to find stateside. I always pick up the newest copies of Casa Brutus and Granta here. Everyone is so kind and the owner makes it a point to host specific art events to get local artists involved. Most recently they had a TOMO Bus Photo event where local artist got to sell their photography prints (myself included). The next event they have coming up will be taking submissions for a TOMO Bus Poster event. Highly highly recommend checking them out. You can also grab a coffee or Matcha from Cielito Lindo while you are browsing. They are a family-owned, Latino coffee partner shares the space with TOMO. Please let me know if you visit!
